Cuba is exposed to several natural threats resulting mainly from hydrometeorological and geological events, hence the need to improve the prevention system, a specialized agency said.
Some 130 specialists from 16 countries in Latin America, Europe and the United States will participate in the 17th Congress of the Cuban Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, June 18-21, the event hosts reported in Havan Tuesday.
Specialists from Brazil, Guatemala and Cuba will meet here from June 11 to 14 to discuss new alternatives in the treatment of demyelinating diseases during the First Cuban School of Neuroimmunology, a press release reported here.
