The 21st International Agricultural Industry and Food Fair, FIAGROP 2018, taking place in this capital, has today among its main activities, the updated presentation of the business portfolio in the sector.
Today’s program includes two workshops, one on the experiences of cooperative and private farming in fighting climate change, and the second one about the cultivation of protein plants for the animal production.
Issues such as Opportunities for bank credit in the agricultural sector, Swine feed, Sanitary quality of raw material and feed, Science and development of seeds and readjustments to the need for water, and Launch of the Vina application, will be addressed in lectures.
The last two will be presented by several experts from the University of Illinois, United States.
The treatment of porcine waste, the use of biodigesters and obtaining renewable energy in this area, are other aspects of the agenda.

FIAGROP 2018 will be held until March 25 in the Rancho Boyeros exhibition center, the oldest in Cuba. The main progress of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food Industry, and the AZCUBA Business Group are exhibited in this event.
