New British and Chinese ambassadors accredited in Cuba

Cuba´s vice-president Salvador Valdes and deputy foreign minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez received in solemn ceremony on Thursday the new ambassadors from China Chen Xi and from the U.K. and Northern Ireland Antony Stokes, along other diplomats.

The credentials were also presented to the Cuban authorities by the ambassadors of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Ellsworth I.A. John; Italy, Andrea Ferrari.

By the end of the ceremony, the new ambassadors laid a wreath at the monument of National Hero Jose Marti at Havana´s Revolution Square.
