The Health Minister of Swaziland, Sibongile Ndlela-Simelane, expressed on Sunday her satisfaction with the work of Cuban physicians offering their services in her country, Prensa Latina reported.

They not only support us with their skills, we are also learning from them. It’s an exchange of experiences, of education, which takes place in each of the places where they work, asserted Ndlela-Simelane.

She said that the 21 Cuban health professionals are located in regional hospitals, covering most of the territory of Swaziland. We are very happy, she underlined.

The official cooperation program between Cuba and Swaziland began 11 years ago. Since then, 101 Cuban health workers have participated in the beautiful humanitarian project in that kingdom of southern Africa, of a little over 1.2 million inhabitants.

The Cuban medical brigade also received the acknowledgement of King Mswati III, who in a meeting at the royal residency of Lozitha expressed their gratitude to the government and people of Cuba for that cooperation.
