Cuba´s First Vice-President Miguel Diaz-Canel signed on Wednesday the book of condolences opened at the Russian embassy for the brutal murder of the Russian ambassador to Turkey in Ankara last Monday.

Shocked by the sad news of the terrorist attack that caused the death of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Turkey, His Excellency Andrei Karlov, last December 19, I convey, on behalf of the Cuban government and people our deepest condolences to relatives and friends of Ambassador Karlov, wrote Diaz-Canel

According to Granma newspaper, the Cuban leader was accompanied by Foreign Deputy Minister Rogelio Sierra. They were received by Ambassador to Cuba Mikhail Kamynin, who thanked them for the visit.
