Statement by the Director for Bilateral Issues of the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s United States Office, Yuri Gala, published on March 13 by the Cuban News Agency (ACN): 

A meeting between delegations of Cuba and the United States will take place in Havana on March 16, presided over by the general director of the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s United States Office, Josefina Vidal, and the head of the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, Assistant Secretary of State Roberta Jacobson, respectively.

During the meeting, the delegations will focus on topics related to the process of reestablishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States, in correspondence with the communication the two parties agreed to maintain after the second round of talks held on February 27, 2015, in Washington.
