Army General Raul Castro, President of the Cuban councils of State and Ministers, congratulated the Communist Party, government and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the commemoration on Wednesday of the 70th anniversary of that nation’s independence.

On behalf of the Communist Party, the government and the people of Cuba, I extend our most sincere and fraternal congratulations, points out the text, addressed to the general secretary of that organization, Nguyen Phu Trong; Truong Tan Sang, President the country; and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, ACN reported on September 1st.
