Council of State Vice-president Salvador Valdes heads the Cuban delegation to the 25th Summit of the African Union, scheduled for June 14 and 15 in the Republic of South Africa.

The Cuban delegation is also made up by Ana Teresita González, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Juan Manuel Rodríguez and Carlos Fernández de Cossio, Cuban ambassadors to the African Union and the Republic of South Africa, respectively, and by other officials of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, ACN reported on June 12.
