Cuba will face the United States at the close of the second round of the CONCACAF U17 Men´s Championships, based in Panama.
The Cuban side finished the first phase with a win, a draw and a loss, and ranked second in group B, with four goals in favor and five against as they beat Canada 2-1, drew 1-1 to Suriname and lost 1-3 to Costa Rica.
But in the second stage of the tournament, which grants four tickets to the World Cup in India, next October, they were beaten 7-1 by Honduras, a team that then lost 0-3 to the United States.
So, they need to scandalously thrash a squad which remains unbeaten in the contest in four outings to Maracaná stadium in Panama City, something that seems almost impossible.
