FIBA Executives to Visit Cuba

Important executives of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) will arrive on Sunday in Havana for a program of exchanges with Cuban sports authorities.

The delegation will be headed by José Luis Sáez, member of the organization’s Central Board, and will include Alberto García, Executive Director for the Americas, and his assistant, Víctor Mansure, Cubasí reported on November 3.

According to their agenda, they will participate on Sunday in the meeting of the General Assembly of the Cuban Basketball Federation to hold exchanges on the bonds of the FIBA with the island and the new system of competitions for that sports discipline.

On Monday, they will be received by executives of the Cuban Sports Institute (INDER) and the Cuban Olympic Committee, and on Tuesday they will have a meeting with the press in a news conference organized for 9:00 a.m. at Havana’s Ciudad Deportiva.
