The 17th edition of Maracuba will be special, since many of the more than 1,400 foreign visitors fond of walking that will attend Marabana will be present at the race on Saturday, November 14.

Carlos Gattorno, director of the Marabana / Maracuba project, told ACN that the event will include cultural activities, with exhibitions of the folklore identifying Cubans, ACN reported on November 5.

Like every year, people of all ages will take part in this popular race, which enjoys great acceptance among those who like physical exercise.

It is expected that, as has happened in previous editions, the figure of participants will go beyond one million, with thousands of races organized throughout the island.

Start will be simultaneous at 10:00 a.m. and will be announced by the Radio Reloj radio station, for all provincial, municipal, rural and mountainous localities.
